Fibromyalgia is a chronic illness that is difficult to manage at times and may make the individual feel as if they are unable to cope with the problems that it causes on a daily basis. Fibromyalgia is a musculoskeletal pain and fatigue disorder that causes widespread pain throughout the body. Other symptoms of Fibromyalgia are:


Chronic pain that at times can radiate to different parts of the body and varies in degrees of pain.

Numbness, tingling, burning, shooting pain, aching, and twitching pain, muscle spasms, sensitive to changes in weather. Along with overwhelming fatigue,sleep problems, irritable bowel, anxiety, depression, skin sensitivity to touch
dizziness, dry mouth, dry eyes, migraines and headaches.

      Think positively and focus on the lighter side of life. Instead of focusing on the pain and symptoms of Fibromyalgia, think about things that make you happy and bring out a smile on your face.

      Stretch out the body several times a day to keep the muscles and joints active. Consider taking a Yoga or Tai Chi class as this will help to keep the body stay flexibility and relieve some of the pressure in the joints and muscles.

      Add herbal supplements to your daily healthy diet that will focus on reducing the symptoms in your body. Consult with your medical physician before attempting to add these to ensure safety.
